What the announcer says when your team passes.
Coming up Plymouth Street is the Lexington Minutemen Football Team, undefeated through preseason camp, captained by Matt Smith. Forty-seven athletes are with us tonight, lit up in blue, marching to kick off another season. Give them a wave!
Submit your entry.
Open to athletic teams, the marching band, the pageant court, civic groups, families, businesses, anyone. Pick a category that fits, tell us how to introduce you, submit by August 1.
You'll need an entry name, contact info, approximate footprint, and a short description for the announcer. The whole thing takes about three minutes.
Five things people ask.
Do floats have to be lit up?
What time should we arrive with kids?
Where do the bubble machines come from?
What if it rains?
When do athletes go on the Brightspeed Stage?
We'll see you on Plymouth Street, Thursday at 8:45.
