Quick Answers

Five things people ask.

Do floats have to be lit up?
Strongly encouraged but not strictly required. The parade reads best when most entries are lit up in blue or with creative lighting. Bubble machines, glow sticks, fairy lights, all welcome.
What time should we arrive with kids?
Aim to be on the route by 8:30 PM. Lights start coming on around 8:00, the air settles, and watching the floats stage is fun on its own.
Where do the bubble machines come from?
The festival provides bubble machines at fixed points along the route, especially near the Grand Reviewing Area. Entries who want bubbles right on their float should bring their own.
What if it rains?
The parade is rain or shine. We only cancel for severe weather (lightning, severe storms). Any changes are posted on the festival Facebook page that evening.
When do athletes go on the Brightspeed Stage?
Right after the parade ends, around 9:30 PM. Teams walk straight from the route to the Brightspeed Stage area for introductions. Family and friends should head that way as soon as the last unit passes.

We'll see you on Plymouth Street, Thursday at 8:45.
