Food Vendor Information

We thank you for your interest in becoming a food vendor for the Lexington Blueberry Festival.

Please be sure to read the application information thoroughly before submitting it to us.

Precedence will be shown to previous attendees who wish to maintain their previous spaces. Any applicant wishing to maintain their previous location must have their application submitted to us by Monday, April 15, 2019. Remaining spaces will then be made available to returning vendors wishing to relocate. After April 15th,we will open any remaining spaces to new vendors. All spots are $700.00 each. The only fees charged will be those listed on the attached application, which are due at the time of submittal.

Set up will start at noon on the Wednesday before the festival opens. To ease congestion,we will be staging food vendors across the street from the community park. As vendors arrive, we will be placing vendors in their assigned locations, one at a time, in the order in which they are assigned. So please plan on coming as early as possible so we can get everyone in place. Also, please remember to indicate on your application stating which side of your trailer you serve from, as this will greatly ease congestion on setup day.

There will be one price charged by all vendors for drinks. You may sell Coke or Pepsi products, but all vendors will charge the same price for these items, as well as water. You will be notified of the price on setup day.

Also, the festival will be holding children’s activities this year. We are asking you as food vendors to donate gift certificates of $5 or more, to be given as prizes to the children. Please consider this, as it will encourage more and more attendance as our festival continues to grow and prosper. We can provide a blank gift cert form for you to fill your company name and amount one. Thank you for your generosity in advance, and we will be collecting these as you arrive on Wednesday.

In order to reserve your vendor space, you need to submit your application, liability waiver, and registration fees by the above mentioned dates.

Application Information

You must reserve your vendor space by paying the complete fees as listed below and submitting this application. Registration fee is nonrefundable and is required before a food vending space can be secured. No space will be reserved nor set up permitted without payment of the required fees and a completed application with the waiver of liability. Spaces will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so register early!

All spaces are 25’x15’. Your trailer, awnings, tables, grills, and any other equipment or furnishings you bring must fit within this space. If you need more space, please indicate the total number of spaces you will need. Parking will be available for storage trailers at $50.00 each. The spaces will not be adjacent to your vendor space. Storage trailers will be parked at the village garage at the top of the hill. Power outlets will be available and a utility golf cart has been provided by the festival for use by the food vendors.

Efforts will be made to assure variety and avoid duplication. This means that if multiple BBQ, Italian, sandwich, or ice cream food vendors sign up before the time your application is received, there may not be a space for you. Previous participants receive priority of applications.

Please plan to be set up at noon on the Wednesday before the festival opens. No other setup times are available. Tear down time will be Sunday after 5:00pm. If Sunday is a rain date for Saturday events, we will close at 10:30pm and tear down will be after 10:30pm.

There is an additional $100.00 fee if the electrical connect or disconnect is required other than during Wednesday setup times.

All vendors must comply with all of the following:

  • Limited space availability
  • Submit a signed liability waiver – festival is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage
  • May leave material set up overnight
  • Must offer a minimum of one blueberry-related item for sale, subject to approval
  • No dumping of waste water during festival hours
  • Must submit a certificate of insurance (minimum $1,000,000) naming LBFO & Vlg of Lexington
